Tutt Bryant Group Limited is committed to conducting its businesses and operations with a sincere and proper regard for the need to protect, and where possible, improve the environment by due consideration of soil, air and water quality, wildlife habitat, recreational areas and the maintenance of natural beauty. In rural areas, the Group will do its utmost to protect land and forested areas from fire, unnecessary damage by plant and vehicles, fuel spills, rubbish, and other damaging materials.
In urban areas, the Group’s activities will pay respect to the rights and expectations of the local community to live their lives and to go about their daily business without unnecessary disruption or harm caused by activities or actions undertaken by the Group’s employees or its equipment. Working together with others in the area of operations is to be a guiding principal for the achievement of maximum cooperation and collaboration.
Additionally, the Group will institute incentives and exercise control procedures to:
- Use natural resources considerately.
- Conserve and use less energy and water.
- Ensure efficiency and good housekeeping in the use of the Group’s products and services.
- Re-use, recycle or convert used products and materials to create higher efficiency of use or reduce the amount of waste they create.
- Sensibly dispose of waste and rubbish which has no further use.
- Encourage fuel suppliers and utilities providers with whom the Group conducts business, to incorporate responsible operating and environmentally friendly practices.
- Conduct performance and efficiency audits of heating and cooling plants, and other generators or energy producing systems on a regular basis to minimise pollution and harmful effects.
- Reduce the unnecessary running of engines, machinery, air conditioning plants, lighting and computers to reduce noise, the consumption of energy, and the wasteful use of carbon fuels.
