Tutt Bryant Group Limited is firmly committed to privacy. As such, the Group is bound by the Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles. The Group will update this Privacy Statement as required. Changes will be advised so that you are aware of the sort of information that is collected, how it may be used, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed.

It should be noted that, if at any time the Group is required by law to release information about an individual or an organisation, we are under an obligation to co-operate fully.

This Privacy Statement does not apply to:

  • Acts or practices that are directly related to employee records of current or former employees.
  • Information that is not personal and cannot be used to identify an individual.
  • Information about individuals acting in a business capacity, e.g. a sole trader using their name as the business name.

 

Information is collected by written and electronic means. We collect information to enable us to provide improvements to our quality goods and services, credit facilities and technical support. Also, to better understand and to respond to customer needs. Examples of personal information the Group collects include names, addresses, bank account details, phone/fax numbers, and e-mail addresses.

In some circumstances the way we provide goods and services to our customers may be affected by the information we hold. For example if you did not provide a properly completed credit application we may be unable to extend credit facilities.

We will not sell, rent or trade to third parties any personal information obtained from you unless you consent. The Group may provide information about you to related corporate bodies for the purposes of sending you material about the goods and services they offer, but such activities will not include any personally identifiable information.

The Group employs security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse and/or alteration of the information under our control. These security measures include employee confidentiality agreements, password security and confidentiality level access to all computer systems, firewall protection, and restricted access to selected hard copy filing systems.

You may gain access to information we have collected about you by contacting our Privacy Officer. You may request that your information is deleted from our records or request that relevant amendments are made.
